Is Your Water Sump Breeding Disease?

In Chennai's humid climate, underground sumps become a breeding ground for bacteria, algae, and bloodworms. Sediment from metro water settles at the bottom, creating a layer of sludge that manual cleaning cannot fully remove.

Risks of Dirty Tanks:

  • Skin allergies & Hair fall
  • Waterborne diseases (Typhoid/Cholera)

Tank Cleaning FAQs

How long does the cleaning process take?

For a standard 5000L sump and 1000L overhead tank, the process typically takes 2-4 hours depending on the amount of sludge.

Is the UV treatment safe for drinking water?

Yes, UV radiation is a physical disinfection method that leaves no chemical residue, making it perfectly safe for drinking water tanks.

How much water do we need to save before you come?

We recommend using up most of the water before our arrival to avoid wastage. We will dewater the remaining 10-20% which usually contains the sediment.
